Refer a friend

1. In Settings, choose Refer a friend.
2. Choose Copy to copy your link, or Share to send it from your phone.
3. Send it to a maker, or post it where makers will see it.

Your link is your shop’s address with /r/ before its name, such as tinbird.shop/r/everyday-soap. The “powered by tinbird” line at the bottom of your shop carries it too.

What happens next

A shop that opens through your link in the next 30 days shows under Shops you’ve referred, as A new shop until it’s open. When one of its payments has cleared 14 days with no refund or dispute, you both get US$10 of credit and we email you both. It comes off your next Tinbird bills by itself.

Your own first month is always paid in full: credit you earn before then shows as waiting, and comes off your bills once your first payment has cleared. You can earn up to US$240 in any 12 months.

A referral doesn’t count if the two shops are yours, or are paid for with the same card. It counts if the shop pays within 12 months of signing up with your link.

Who referred you

If you signed up through a shop’s link, the card step shows who referred you, and so does Billing in Settings. On the card step, before you start your free trial, you can choose Change to name another shop by its address, such as everyday-soap, or Remove. Once your trial starts, it can’t change. A referral comes from a shop’s link, so sign up through it.
