Payouts and fees
Stripe pays your sales into your bank. Tinbird takes no cut; Stripe charges a fee per card payment.
Where the money goes
When a buyer pays, the money goes to your Stripe account, not to Tinbird. Stripe holds it for a short while, then pays it into your bank account. That transfer is a payout.
Until you add your bank account, Stripe keeps your sales in your balance and pays nothing out.
When payouts arrive
Stripe sets your payout schedule, which depends on your country. Your first payout takes about a week, sometimes up to two, while Stripe gets to know your business. After that it’s usually a few working days.
To see what’s been paid and what’s on its way, open Payments in Settings and choose Payouts.
What comes off
- Tinbird takes nothing from your sales. Your plan is the only thing you pay us.
- Stripe charges a fee on each card payment, which depends on your country and the card. It comes off before the money reaches you.
Stripe’s fee invoices and tax documents are in Documents on the Payments page, when Stripe has made them available.
Which currency you’re paid in
Your shop sells in your country’s currency, and Stripe pays you in it too. Your country is in Settings, under Country, and it’s fixed once you connect Stripe.
Refunds and disputes
A refund comes out of your Stripe balance. So does a disputed payment, while the bank decides.
