Add products from photos
Add a pile of photos. Tinbird sorts them into products and drafts each listing.
- In Products, choose New import. On a phone, choose Add product.
- Choose Choose photos, or drop them on the page. An import takes up to 300 photos.
- Wait while Tinbird sorts them. It puts each product’s photos together, names it and writes its listing.
- Check each product. To move a photo, drag it onto another product. To leave a product out, choose ×.
- Enter each product’s price. Tinbird won’t set a price unless you ask it to guess.
- Choose Save, which shows how many products it will save.
What happens next
Each product is saved off sale, with its photos in order, and only you can see it. The next screen lets you add them to a drop or choose Put them on sale, or you can leave them and put each one on sale from its own page.
Photos you left out, and photos Tinbird took for something other than a product, stay in Media.
Change all of them at once
- On the import, choose Tell Tinbird.
- Say what you want, like “tees are £28, the rest £45”.
Tinbird changes the products and tells you what it did. Choose Undo under its reply to put them back. Open one product and its thread is about that product alone.
Answer what Tinbird asks
Tinbird asks about what the photos can’t show, like a jacket’s size. It asks at most one thing per product. Choose Tinbird asks to answer, or skip the question if it doesn’t matter.
Carry on with an import later
Unfinished imports stay on Products until you save them or throw the photos away. Under the menu beside New import, All imports lists every one.
If Tinbird couldn’t write one
The product shows why. Fill it in yourself, or move a photo to have Tinbird try again. It can’t write new ones once you’ve used your monthly allowance. See Ask Tinbird for help.
