Add your bank account

Connecting Stripe doesn’t ask for your bank account, so you can start taking orders sooner. After your first sale, we email you, and Home and Payments say what Stripe needs to send your money to you: your bank account, and sometimes a quick selfie. Your sales wait in your Stripe balance until then, and buyers can keep checking out.

1. In Settings, open Payments.
2. Choose Set up payouts.
3. Enter your bank details, and anything else Stripe asks for, in Stripe’s form.

What happens next

Stripe pays what’s in your balance into your bank on its usual schedule. Your first payout can take a little longer while Stripe gets to know your business.

Change your bank account

1. In Settings, open Payments.
2. Choose Account, then change the bank account under payouts.
